Inessa Obenhuber


Besides being a Partner at Kiventures, Inessa is also a managing partner of IVO Technology Partners, a venture capital firm focusing on early stage investments. Inessa has experience in international business and investing in emerging growth companies. Over her career she has invested in more than 22 high technology companies and served on the boards of several portfolio companies. She is also an active member and investor of Seraph Group, listed inventor on four U.S. patent applications and served as one of the founding members of the Russian language edition of PC Magazine. Inessa holds a B.A. from Moscow University of Printing Art.


Katya Stesin


Katya is a Partner of Kiventures. She is a serial entrepreneur and has experience in raising funds and successfully building and running high technology companies both in US and Russia. Katya is a founder and CEO of Razoom (the company that is developing a rapid service creation platform of ISPs), a co-founder of Anagran (computer networking equipment). She served on the board and advisory boards of several information technology and nanotechnology companies in Silicon Valley and Russia. Katya holds a Degree of Engineer (post Masters degree) in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University.


Kevin Grundy

Kevin served as chief executive officer for a number of companies, including NextNet Wireless, a pre-WiMAX wireless supplier purchased by Clearwire Corp., and SiliconPipe, a copper interconnected technology development company with extensive intellectual property. In addition, he co-founded Telocity to develop a cost-efficient, self-install DSL platform. Currently Kevin is COO of Sezmi.


Joe Fjelstad

Joe is a founder and President of Verdant Electronics. He has more than 35 years of international experience in electronic interconnection and packaging technology. Prior to founding Verdant, Mr. Fjelstad co-founded SiliconPipe, a leader in the development of high speed interconnection technologies. He was also formerly with Tessera Technologies, a global leader in chip-scale packaging, where he was appointed to the first corporate fellowship for his innovations.


Kelly Porter

Kelly is a managing director at Woodside Capital Partners and founder and managing partner of ZAP Ventures. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, corporate strategy and venture finance as a CEO, venture capitalist and private investor, having participated in or completed dozens of transactions, including financings, acquisitions and IPO's. Prior to founding ZAP Ventures, Kelly was Chairman/CEO of interactive TV software start-up CatchTV, (acquired by Liberty Media/ACTV).


Brad Rock

Brad is a partner in the corporate and securities practice group at the Silicon Valley office of DLA Piper, one of the largest law firms in the world. DLA Piper has more than 59 offices in 24 countries, including offices in the major markets for emerging growth companies and venture capital in the United States, in the UK and Continental Europe, and in China. Brad has been practicing law in the Silicon Valley for over 20 years, starting at Ware & Freidenrich, which became part of Gray Cary, and then part of DLA Piper.
